Set up Foodics with Mozrest

The entire process takes less than 5 minutes. You'll need admin access to your Foodics account and an active reservation system account.

Before you start

Your Foodics admin may need to enable the Mozrest integration in the Foodics developer portal. If you see an error during authorisation, check with your Foodics admin first.

How to start

Your reservation system provider sends you a setup link. Your reservation system is already pre-selected — you only need to connect Foodics.

Step-by-step

1. Connect to Foodics

Click "Connect to Foodics". You'll be redirected to Foodics to sign in and authorise Mozrest.

2. Sign in and authorise

Sign in to your Foodics account and grant Mozrest access. This allows Mozrest to create reservations, read your floor plan, and receive order updates.

Your credentials are safe

Mozrest never sees your password. The connection uses secure authorisation — your credentials stay with Foodics.

3. Select your branch

If your Foodics account has multiple branches, select the one to connect. With a single branch, this step is automatic.

4. Select payment method (optional)

If your venue accepts prepayments or deposits, select the payment method to use. You can skip this step if prepayments don't apply.

5. Activate

Click "Activate & Continue". Mozrest registers with your Foodics account and the POS connection is live.

6. Complete reservation system setup

Depending on your reservation system, you may have one final step — such as entering an API key or venue ID, or waiting for your provider to enable the connection. The setup flow guides you through it.

7. Map your tables

Match your POS tables to the tables in your reservation system. This ensures reservations are sent to the correct table on your POS.

8. Done

You'll see a confirmation screen. Reservations now sync automatically between your reservation system and Foodics.

What happens next

  • Reservations appear on your POS with guest name, party size, table, and time
  • Order updates (items, payments, closures) sync back in real time

No further action needed — everything runs automatically.
